Leave In Conditioner Recipe - Step by Step - Hey LUVS Read here before you ask a question thats already been answered. OR check back here for updates on questions asked in the comments section. ;o 1 oz Knot Today Leave-In or 2 tablespoons of YOUR preferred leave-in 2 tablespoons of Whole leaf version Aloe Vera Juice with a pH 4.0 or 4.5 2 teaspoons of Castor Oil 2 teaspoons of Jojoba Oil Mix well. Its enough for me to use on my entire head of hair. I have bra strap length hair and it is normal -not thick or thin. Sometimes there is mixture left over, usually not. When there are leftovers, I put it in the fridge for later use. I use the leftovers within 3 days. check Amazon for scale, oils, etc. If you have bushy ends, the reason is because your cuticles are lifted. Now that I have a control and an understanding of pH balance, I no longer have that problem when twistingbraiding my hair etc. When I braid or twist my hair and apply my acidic mixture to it, the ends of my hair are smooth, not bushy and flared out like a broom. I kind of stumbled upon this when I started paying more attention to the pH of the products I add to my hair. Yes, our hair has a kinky texture, but super bushy, dry ends are due to the cuticles of your ends being lifted. Hair might be tiny, but when they all join forces they make an impact. Always keep in mind that the ends of your hair is the OLDEST part. They will dry out the fastest and therefore the cuticles must be encouraged to remain closed. So try it and let me know. Just b...b
